License violations

This usually requires a trip to the Department of Motor Vehicles or sending to Albany for a D.M.V. abstract. You must then resolve the suspensions that formed the basis for the aggravated unlicensed charge. Karen Friedman has a computer hookup in her office to the Department of Motor Vehicles and can expedite matters for you.  Upon discovering the reasons for the Aggravated Unlicensed charge, she can work on the resolving your drivers license problems.

New York State takes driving with a suspended or revoked license seriously. Often motorists who are arrested are put through the system along with the burglars, drug dealers, and rapists. In New York City, this adventure can mean spending a night or two in jail sharing a cramped cell with convicted criminals. It is very important to answer your summonses on time and to maintain insurance on your automobile.

Insurance violations

New York State requires motor vehicles to be insured. If you receive a summons for driving without insurance, and are convicted of this charge, your driving privileges in New York State will be revoked for one year.
